Legislative Postcards
The North Central UniServ Council hand delivered over 2,000 post cards on November 28, 2011, from educators and community members from all 40 local legislative districts. It is urgent to keep the affects of budget cuts first and foremost on the minds of our legislators and senators as they work throughout this special session. Members from many of our locals had post card writing parties to let our representatives and senators know the impact of budget cuts on public education. The postcard writing became so popular, we decided to share the postcards with you, so you are able to print, download and write as many postcards as you wish, as often as you wish.
It is time to do your part now. Your elected officials need to hear from YOU! Please take time to write them and let them know how budget cuts have and will affect your students!
